EST03 - Sustainable Bioprocess Development

 Background 

Many beginners approaching electronics for the first time think that they have to learn how to build everything from scratch. This is not true with Arduino. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It is intended for anyone making interactive projects. This program covers most of the important concepts that allow participants to do many professional projects. The content is designed for beginners (hobbyists and students) to guide them work as professionals. At the end of this program, the participants will have an opportunity to design and build simple project using Arduino.

  Learning outcomes 

At the end of the program, participants will be able to

  1. Relate the importance of being responsible for sustainable biomass utilization.
  2. Apply their knowledge in utilizing biomass conversion technologies.

 Chemical engineering Summer Lab:

  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practice.
  • Bio-Lab Equipment and Safety Handling.
  • Laboratory Tour.
  • Centre of Excellence for Advanced Research in Fluid Flow (CARIFF) Tour.

 Waste to wealth: Biomass for the production of value added products.

 Application of Design Expert in Bioprocess Development.

 Special section: Halal Industry- Opportunities and Challenges.

 

  Fees  

USD1250       

Our fee is inclusive of tuition, meals (5 times daily), 2-bedroom apartment, 3-day 2-night weekend gateaway, local excursion, and extra co-curricular activities.
Minimum number of participants: 15 pax
